About Us

Funded since 1997 by a grant from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office, the California Community Colleges Technology Center, hosted by Butte College, provides project leadership and free implementation services to colleges adopting Chancellor’s Office-sponsored technologies.

We offer dedicated support to see colleges through to successful implementation, configuration, professional development, and adoption of systemwide technology solutions.

Over our 25-year history, the experience, vision, and execution of the CCC Technology Center resulted in great strides forward for the system in areas such as federated identity, application architecture, networking, and student services.

We continue to provide secure, scalable, and integrated technology solutions that take advantage of economies of scale and are facilitated by governance from the colleges themselves. Tech Center solutions are developed with full support from the Chancellor’s Office — and provided at no cost to colleges — to benefit our students, staff, and faculty to ensure student success.

Support Services provided by the Technology Center, Accessibility Center, and Information Security Center include:

  • Implementation planning and support
  • Best practice recommendations from the field
  • Project management support
  • End-user training and support for college staff and students
  • Post implementation training through webinars, office hour sessions as well as 1:1 training
  • Analysis of usage data and recommendations for improved outcomes
  • End-user support through our help desk services
