Enhanced Student ID Verification - October 22, 2025

This webinar introduced the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office enhancement of the existing multi-tiered digital identity verification process to further reduce application fraud and provide students with additional options to verify their identity through the California DMV Mobile Driver’s License (mDL) program.

CCCApply Skills Refresh - September 24, 2025

This webinar provided an overview of all things CCCApply. Topics included Creating and Using Rules and Messages, Using Major Categories, Adding Supplemental Questions, and Using the Spam Filter. CCC Data Warehouse and the Student Journey - April 29, 2025

About the Technology Center

The California Community Colleges Technology Center, hosted by Butte College, facilitates and coordinates the work of systemwide technology. In our more than 25-year history of collaboration with the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office and community colleges statewide, the experience, vision, and execution of the CCC Technology Center have resulted in great strides forward for the system in areas like federated identity, application architecture, networking, and student services.

We operate under the Gartner model of “Run, Grow, Transform” to simplify our portfolio of services and prioritize resources in support of ongoing operations, the next phase of growth, and longer term transformative innovation.

Districts Eager for CENIC Circuits and Services

Interest in system-funded network circuit upgrades is high among California community college districts, after presentations at the CENIC and CISOA Technology Conferences detailed the free and auxiliary services available through the CCC membership with CENIC, the Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California.

Requesting Updates to CCCApply Has Never Been Easier

Now college staff can request updates to non-legislated aspects of the application by completing a simple online form. This form outputs all CCCApply enhancement requests into a single document for annual review by the Chancellor’s Office Digital Innovation and Infrastructure team.

Vision 2030 and Proactive Institution-wide Accessibility

Recently the US Department of Justice updated the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II, specifying minimum standards to proactive accessibility. This coupled with the California Community Colleges Vision 2030 puts new light on educational equity.
